Abstract

Abstract. Negative consequences of any economic crisis is decrease in the purchasing activity of customers, including niche of garments. Market analysts note a sharp decline in consumer demand for fashion clothing after the 2019–2020 pandemic. A new technology for attracting buyers was introduction of online services for presenting customized garments in the Internet. Visual merchandising proved itself well with the advent of online stores with industrial goods. User skills of online shopping firmly entered the life of the population. Currently, such shopping stimulator is being popularized through participation of customers in online adjustment of the design of standard products. They use 3D graphics tools in fitting simulation programs, which contribute to the formation of new ways of communication between enterprises and consumers. Multilateral monitoring of the market and consumer preferences contribute to increasing the competitiveness and demand for garments. The article presents the results of the analysis of Korean women wardrobe in the historical context and the demand for modern youth clothing in the hanbok style. For the customized design of clothes of the studied style, a database and tools for visualizing the three-dimensional images of the designed products were developed.
